Mission Statement

Dasht Development is a sample implementation of Khorog Development Program, which envisions Khorog as a hub for technological research on nature: raw materials, plants, and animals. We aim to actively advance and contribute to the global stride in the prefabrication and technological biomimicry sector by establishing a state of the art research centre and workshop on plants, animals and materials. Local empowerment, community building, sustainable development and employment opportunities creation are the driving forces within our establishment. The improvement of the quality of life through technological advancement, research and infrastructure development remains at the centre of the work we do.

Objectives 

 

• Increase access to sustainable sanitation infrastructure for the Dasht community within Khorog.

• Increase sustainability by promoting a multi-faceted water management system with focus on water preservation and integrating grey-water used in irrigation and toilets. 

• Foster a new model of innovative thinking within the Khorog population to address the current problems faced by the population.

• Evolve sustainable approaches based on the current environment and needs of the Khorog community. 

• Become a global leading research and workshop centre on plants, animals and materials. 

• Establish a practice for local empowerment and employment creation 

• Operate learning centre, factory and washrooms under clean energy
